About

My name is Des Roome and I have been a woodworker almost my whole life. My father was a master woodworker who manufactured furniture for a lot of high end installations. Woodwork has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, from building treehouses and soap box carts as a kid to building furniture for my own home as a hobby woodworker.

I have been fortunate to be able to make a living from my woodwork for the past 12+ years.

We have done installation work in a number of prestigious homes around Johannesburg and Pretoria,  areas include Steyn City, Sandhurst, Hyde Park, Illovo, Bryanston and Bedfordview. We have also done projects in Simbithi Eco Estate in KZN as well as in Lusaka Zambia.
